Stage Alive hosts season's final concert

Stage Alive Community Concerts presents its final concert of the season: Dave Bennett's Tribute to Benny Goodman. The concert will be held at Culpeper County High School Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Dave Bennett brings to life the hits and swing classics of the greatest clarinetist, Benny Goodman. With a vivacious vocalist the sextet delivers "Bugle Call Rag," "Sing, Sing, Sing," "Stompin' At The Savoy," and many other great hits. Vocalist Carol McCartney's impeccable style and finely tuned musicianship are always front and center.
Twenty-four-year-old Dave Bennett's playing reflects a mature personal style that brings out unique blending of the sounds inspired by his two idols: Benny Goodman and Pete Fountain. The audience can enjoy Dave's Benny Goodman Tribute, bringing to today's stage the timeless, classic music of the greatest clarinetist of all time.
The subscription series is sold out, but individual tickets are available at the door for $20. However, the concert is free if you subscribe to next season's six concerts at $40 for the entire series.
