11 a.m. - Science Club continues with a guest speaker from UVA. Our guest will talk about rocks and show examples of various ones she has collected and mined over the years. For third through sixth graders and their families. Call the Orange Library at 672-3811 to sign up.
12 p.m. - Books & Barks
Books & Barks is a free library program where registered therapy dogs listen to school age children read stories. This fun program is intended to give school age children confidence, as well as encourage children to practice reading. Dogs have been trained and tested for health, safety and temperament. Sign up at the front desk or call (540) 672-3811 to book a time.

6 p.m. - Classic Mystery Movie Night
"You are cordially invited to dinner and a murder…" So begins the invitation sent to five world-famous detectives by Lionel Twain (Truman Capote), an eccentric millionaire who is out to test the detectives' investigative prowess. It also begins Neil Simon's "Murder By Death," a tongue-in-cheek tribute to great detectives, criminal fiends, and hapless victims who've left their blood-stained fingerprints on the silver screen. Rated PG. Open to all.

10:15 a.m. - Toddler time for children ages 18 months to three years and their caregivers. This is a 20-minute program with short stories, songs music and movement activities.
11 a.m. - Preschool Storytime for children ages three to six and their caregivers. This is a 45-minute program with stories, action rhymes, songs and a craft. Español Storytime. Come learn some Spanish in this bilingual storytime. Preschoolers will make a creative craft to be displayed in the library.
May 8
3:30 p.m. - Anime @ the library for sixth to 12th graders. Come watch the first disc of "Moon Phase," a story of ghosts, vampires, and comedy.
May 7
