ALPHA COURSE
The Alpha Course begins Jan. 13. The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore life's questions in a relaxed, non-threatening, fun environment. The ten-week course includes a fellowship meal with a thought provoking presentation and an opportunity for discussion. Join us for our introductory banquet Wednesday, Jan. 13 st 6 p.m. at 109 N. LOW CONCERT SERIES
The Lake of the Woods Church "Making Joyful Noise" concert series continues Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. in the worship center with Dave and Erin Shafferman hosting their musical homecoming for the church and community. Featured in this concert will be Dave and Erin as well as friends and family members. A cookie concerto reception will follow the performance. LZBC KING SERVICE
A fellowship service will be held in honor of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Jan. 17 at 3 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church, Orange. The guest messenger will be the Rev. Ellis R. Hill, pastor of Gloryland Church of God, Charlottesville. A reception will be held with birthday cake following the service.

WILDON GROVE KING SERVICE
Wildon Grove Baptist Church, Rt. 645 in Gordonsville, will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Sunday, Jan. 17. Sister Brooke Sims, the YMCA Youth Director in Charlottesville and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, will deliver the morning message at 11:30 a.m. All are invited. NBC KING SERVICE
The Nazareth Baptist Church family will be observing and celebrating the birth, life and dream of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during a special fellowship service Jan. 18 at noon. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Walter E. Bryant, pastor of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, Tanners. He will be accompanied by his choir and congregation. A reception will be held with cake and punch following the service.

SOUP LUNCHEON
The Nazareth Baptist Church Men's Ministry will be serving a soup luncheon Jan. 27 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. All are welcome.

OUTDOORSMENS DINNER
Flat Run Baptist Church, Locust Grove, will host the second annual outdoorsmen's dinner Saturday, Jan. 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the church. All men and boys are welcome. Bring a wild game dish. WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER
Calvary Baptist Church, Monrovia Road, is having Wednesday night dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by a prayer meeting at 6:30 p.m. and Bible study at 7 p.m. A love offering of $2 per person or $5 per family is suggested but not required. This is a weekly event.

FREE LUNCH
The Orange Community Church of Christ is offering free sandwiches for those in need every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are located at 276 N. Madison Rd. across from the Hornet's Nest. Any questions please call 661-1025. Donations accepted.

SPIRITUAL TIDINGS PROGRAM
The Spiritual Tidings program has served the community for 21 years with Brother Edmond Harrison, Jr., as gospel announcer. From 6 - 8 a.m. join Brother Harrison every Sunday morning for music to uplift your spirit over radio stations WCVA 1490 AM Culpeper and WVCV 1340 AM Orange.
