Four County Players is proud to present the world premiere of “Well Adjusted,” a comedy written by local playwright Phil Horst. It’s about a group of friends telling increasingly absurd lies and getting into ridiculous predicaments in order to appear like they have it together.
The synopsis: Ben hasn’t seen his ex-girlfriend Abby in a little over a year, but that’s about to change. His friend Mark invited her to a party at Kate’s house, but Kate isn’t having a party, Ben is wearing sweatpants, Beth is in a delicate emotional place and they have about an hour to turn movie night into a classy party. They’ll do whatever it takes to convince Abby that they are grown up, well-adjusted individuals.
“Well Adjusted” plays in the Cellar, Four County Players’ 60-seat black box space, Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 3-18 at 8 p.m. Seating is limited and will sell out fast, so get your tickets now! All tickets $10.
