The Market Basket

Public displays of relaxation

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

I admit, I was a little nervous at first. However, within one minute all I noticed were the sounds of the fountain and the smell of the flowers. Within another minute, I noticed nothing but my muscles unknotting and my cares floating away.
After my 10-minute chair massage, I was a new woman, ready to face the rest of my weekend.
Jeanie Joyce, the owner of Salts and Stones Massage Therapy, generously gives people new life with her chair massages on Saturdays at the Orange Farmer's Market. In only 10 minutes, circulation is improved, muscular tension is relieved and daily relaxation gets a great head start. Not into public displays of relaxation? Try a half-hour, one hour or 90-minute massage in the privacy of her massage rooms on Byrd Street.
The Orange Farmer's Market has more than the best vegetables in town. Come to relax, enjoy the sounds and smells of Taylor Park, settle your mind and rejuvenate your body!
The Orange Farmer's Market is held in Taylor Park on Main Street Wednesdays 12-5 pm. And Saturdays 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. the Farmer's Market is sponsored by the Orange Downtown Alliance.
