JAM SESSION

YARD SALE
The Orange Community Church of Christ will be having a yard sale Saturday, June 6 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 276 N. Madison Rd. (across from the Hornet's Nest). There will be household and yard items plus more for sale. Donated items in excellent condition will be accepted; please no clothing. We look forward to seeing you there. CLOTHING GIVEAWAY
Blue Run Baptist Church, Somerset, will be hosting a free clothing giveaway June 6 from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be lots of summer clothing for all ages.

CHOIR ANNIVERSARY
The senior choir of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Barboursville, will be celebrating their annual choir anniversary Sunday, June 7 at 2:30 p.m. The Divine Life Ministry of Culpeper will be in concert. Rev. James Gregory Mack is pastor. The public is invited.

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
Union Baptist Church, Trevilians, is celebrating their church anniversary Sunday, June 7 at 3 p.m. Pastor Temple Anderson of Phillippi Christian Church, Mineral, and his church family will be the guests for the evening. All are welcome.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY
Join the members of Little Zion Baptist Church as they celebrate Family and Friends Day June 7 at 10 a.m. There will be a special dedication made to a member of the church who has shown their dedication to God and the members of Little Zion so if you have family members or friends that attend Little Zion join them on Family and Friends Day.If you don't have any family members or friends at Little Zion, stop by and make some new friends.

WOMEN OF THE BIBLE
Rock Hall Baptist Church, Wolftown, invites the public to join them June 7 for the women of the Bible service at 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served following the 11 a.m. service.

MUSICAL PROGRAM
The Rochester family, a well-known singing and recording group from Blacksburg, SC, will be presenting a musical program at Faith Bible Baptist Church in Unionville Monday night, June 8, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the singing and stringed instruments of this talented and dedicated family. BIBLE CLUB
Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, Orange, would like to invite all children ages three and up to join them this summer on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. until noon for bible club. OPERATION
SWORD AND SHIELD
Grace Baptist Church on Rt. 20 will be having vacation bible school June 15-19 from 10 a.m. to noon daily. The theme is "Operation Sword and Shield." Ages two to sixth grade are invited to be a knight or lady and enjoy puppets, songs, bible and missionary stories, games, crafts and snack time. A festival and picnic will be held on the last day. BOOMERANG EXPRESS
Gordonsville Baptist Church will host vacation bible school for ages four through sixth grade Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to noon daily and adult vacation bible school June 15-17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. nightly. The theme for this year is "Boomerang Express." Hop on board Lifeway's Boomerang Express as VBS 2009 takes a train ride across the land down under. As kids wind their way through Australia, they'll discover the vastness of God's love, and they'll learn that no matter where they go or what they do in life--it all comes back to Jesus. CONCERT
Singer/songwriter Gordon Jensen will be at Blue Run Baptist Church, Somerset, during the 11 a.m. service Sunday, July 5. He has written such spiritual songs as "Written in Red," "I Should Have Been Crucified" and "Redemption Draweth Nigh." He has been nominated five times for GMA Songwriter of the Year.
