BIBLE CLUB
Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, Orange, would like to invite all children ages three and up to join them this summer on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. until noon for bible club. GOSPEL CONCERT
The Strother Family Gospel Singers of Madison will render a program at Emmanuel Baptist Church Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. A love offering will be taken and proceeds will benefit the Lelia S. Thomas Scholarship Fund. Come out and support this worthy cause.

DEACON AND DEACONESS DAY
Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Unionville, will be celebrating their annual deacon and deaconess day June 14. The evening service will begin at 3 p.m. and will be conducted by Rev. Robert Williams, Jr. and his congregation from Good Hope Baptist Church, King George. The regular morning service will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will be rendered by the pastor, Rev. Willie Glaspie. HOMECOMING
Homecoming will be celebrated June 14 at Walkers UM Church, Madison. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Allan Follett delivering the message and special music by the Beulah Land Quartet. MEN'S DAY
Blue Run Baptist Church will be celebrating men's day Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. Rev. Hugh Ellis, pastor of Gordonsville Bibleway, along with his choir and congregation will be the guests.

CHURCH SCHOOL SERVICE
Nazareth Baptist Church will hold a church school service Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. The guest preacher will be Pastor James Jackson of Union Baptist Church. FAMILY CRUSADE
Well-known evangelist Ricky Henson of Jonesboro, GA will be conducting a Family Crusade at Faith Bible Baptist Church, Unionville, from June 14-17. The Sunday services are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. with the weekday services beginning at 7 p.m. daily. "Tricky Ricky," as he is called, has been on such shows as Good Morning America, P.M. Magazine, News Around the World, Hour Magazine and America's Most Funniest People. He has held crusades all over the United States. LOW CHURCH VBS
It's time to register your children for vacation bible school to be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 15-19 at The Lake of the Woods Church. Children, age four by Sept. 30, through rising sixth graders are welcome and encouraged to attend. Registration is through June 14. This year we will be taking a Prayer Safari as the children learn the Lord's Prayer. Rising fifth and sixth graders will participate in Extreme VBS which will include group bible study, outdoor games, group projects and a final day of crazy activities and group fun! The children will present their closing program Sunday, June 21, at 11 a.m. in the worship center. Following this program, a lively walk through Africa will be presented, which includes food and activities from 12-2 p.m.

OPERATION SWORD AND SHIELD
Grace Baptist Church on Rt. 20 will be having vacation bible school June 15-19 from 10 a.m. to noon daily. The theme is "Operation Sword and Shield." Ages two to sixth grade are invited to be a knight or lady and enjoy puppets, songs, bible and missionary stories, games, crafts and snack time. A festival and picnic will be held on the last day. BOOMERANG EXPRESS
Gordonsville Baptist Church will host vacation bible school for ages four through sixth grade Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to noon daily and adult vacation bible school June 15-17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. nightly. The theme for this year is "Boomerang Express." Hop on board Lifeway's Boomerang Express as VBS 2009 takes a train ride across the land down under. As kids wind their way through Australia, they'll discover the vastness of God's love, and they'll learn that no matter where they go or what they do in life--it all comes back to Jesus. Craigs Baptist Church invites you to join them for their community-wide vacation bible school. Hop on board the Boomerang Express for a grand tour of the Land Down Under. In this one-week adventure, you will hear Bible stories, participate in cool crafts, warm up to motivating music, eat snacks at the G'Day Cafe and play games at Recreation Rock. BAD GIRLS OF THE BIBLE
The Orange Community Church of Christ will be offering a ladies Bible class once a month on Saturdays beginning Saturday, June 27 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. We will be studying another great Liz Curtis Higgs book called “Really Bad Girls of the Bible.” Our former ladies class on “Bad Girls of the Bible” was so successful, that we wanted to continue studying more of her books! OCBC VBS
Join an archeological expedition through the Egyptian desert and experience a great adventure with Oak Chapel Baptist Church Club VBS: Truth Trek. Oak Chapel Baptist Church invites all children ages three through sixth grade for their annual Club VBS. The trekkers will participate in an journey filled with exciting Bible stories, cool crafts and theme-related recreation games and snacks. CONCERT
Singer/songwriter Gordon Jensen will be at Blue Run Baptist Church, Somerset, during the 11 a.m. service Sunday, July 5. He has written such spiritual songs as "Written in Red," "I Should Have Been Crucified" and "Redemption Draweth Nigh." He has been nominated five times for GMA Songwriter of the Year. Please encourage family and friends to make plans to come and visit with us July 5.

FOOD COLLECTION
Knight's Chapel Church of the Brethren, Barboursville, is still collecting donations of non-perishable food to be taken to area food banks, which are currently running extremely low. Bring your donations to the church and they will be taken to the food banks.

AWANAS
The Zion Baptist Church Awana Program is held Wednesday nights from 6:15 - 7:30 p.m. for children ages four years old thru fifth grade.

COMMUNITY PRAYER SERVICE
Bethlehem United Methodist Church at Unionville will be holding a community prayer service every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. The service will focus on prayer for the community, state, and nation and should last approximately 30 minutes. Everyone is invited to join us in prayer.

SPIRITUAL TIDINGS PROGRAM
