Sign-up starts for the Summer Reading Program, open to all youth 18 months old through rising 12th graders. Sign up at your local library to get your rules and tickets and get started reading.

No Storytime this week.
3 p.m. - Lucky Bill, Virginia's own singing cowboy! This 45-minute program includes stories and songs about the Old West. Dressed in vintage cowboy gear, Lucky Bill will also demonstrate the use of chaps, spurs, ropes and more. This is a free, library-sponsored program for elementary school-aged children and their caregivers. Held at Gordon-Barbour Elementary School.

June 9
1 p.m. - Twilight Party with crafts for sixth to 12th graders. Come make body glitter to sparkle like a Cullen, key chains with your favorite quotes and pictures, and more.
2:45 p.m. - Teen movie for sixth to 12th graders. Based on the best selling series by Stephenie Meyer, we'll watch the first movie in the saga of "Bella and Edward." Snacks provided. Rated PG-13.

10:15 a.m. - Toddler time for children ages 18 months to three years and their caregivers. This is a 20-minute program with short stories, songs and music and movement activities.
11 a.m. - Preschool Storytime for children ages three to six and their caregivers. This is a 45-minute program with stories, action rhymes, songs and a craft. Kick off Be Creative @ Your Library this week with a Creative Play Storytime, which will include stories, songs and rhymes about imagination and creative expression. Preschooler will make a mask.

This is a 30 to 40-minute program with stories, action rhymes, songs and a craft. Imagine different worlds with this Dragons and Princesses Storytime. Preschoolers will make a daring dragon craft.
3 p.m. - This week, Wes Iseli and Party Magic present a 45-minute magic show complete with balloon animals. This is a free, library-sponsored program for elementary school-aged children and their caregivers. Held at Gordon-Barbour Elementary School.
June 23
9:45 a.m. - Family Storytime held at the Gordonsville Town Hall. For children ages 18 months to siux years and their caregivers. This is a 30 to 40-minute program with stories, action rhymes, songs and a craft. Get ready for silly stories and songs in this Pizza Please Storytime. Preschoolers will create a pretend pizza.
3 p.m. - The GoodLife Theater presents Lula's "Let's Make A Circus." This 45-minute program includes juggling, magic, unicycling, clowning and more. This is a free show for elementary school-aged children and their caregivers. Held at Gordon-Barbour Elementary School.
