FUN NIGHT
The Youth Ministry of New Fellowship Christian Center will host Fun Night Nov. 20 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. for youth ages 3-18. There will be games, food and a talent show with first and second place prizes given to the winners. Fun Night is held every third Friday of the month at the church, which is located on Route 15 north of Orange. For more information, contact youth leaders Roy and Tyra May at 661-1104.

FUNDRAISER
Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, Orange, will be holding a fundraiser Christmas bazaar and yard sale Nov. 21 at 8 a.m. at the Isaiah House. Table space will be available per donation. For more information, contact Betty Payton at 854-7433.

YOUTH TALENT
SHOWCASE
The second annual "The GOSPEL" youth talent showcase will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, at 3 p.m. at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, Rixeyville. There is no fee to attend the showcase, but attendees are asked to bring boxed and canned foods to provide Thanksgiving baskets to area families.For more information, contact "Octavia" Missy Yates at 829-5466 or email omyates@firstva.com or wayland_blueridge@usa.com. This event is sponsored by the Wayland Blue Ridge Association Youth Department.

PASTOR ANNIVERSARY
Nazareth Baptist Church will celebrate the fourth anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. Dr. Gene T. Lee, Nov. 22. The 11 a.m. guest preacher will be the Rev. Journey Beasley, associate minister at Elk Run Baptist Church, Madison. The 3 p.m. anniversary service guest preacher will be Rev. Jacob Phillips, pastor at White Oak Run Baptist Church, Rapidan.

JOINT THANKSGIVING SERVICES
The Orange County Ministerial Association encourages you to worship in one of the many joint Thanksgiving services in the area. On Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Orange Assembly of God, the Rev. Tom Barnard, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, will be preaching and the community chorus will be providing special music. Please bring canned/dried goods for Love Outreach, the local food pantry. An offering will also be taken for Sheltering Arms homeless ministry and Christian Emergency Council, a cooperative ministry of churches in the county of Orange assisting residents with rent, fuel, electric and pharmaceutical bills. Also on Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, Gordonsville, the Rev. Deborah Koontz, pastor of Gordonsville United Methodist Church will be preaching. Please bring canned/dried goods for the community food pantry. An offering also will be taken for the Gordonsville Christian Emergency Council. On Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Unionville, the Rev. Tom Schafer, pastor of the Lake of the Woods Church, will be preaching. Please bring canned/dried goods for the Love Outreach. An offering will also be taken for Love Outreach.

PRE-THANKSGIVING
SERVICE
The Main Uno Baptist Church will be having its annual pre-Thanksgiving service on Nov. 25. Praise and worship will begin at 7:30 p.m. with service beginning at 8 p.m. For more information, call 672-4261.

THANKSGIVING EVE
SERVICE
Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Oak Park, will host a community-wide Thanksgiving Eve service Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. Several churches in the community will participate in this event, including Mt. Zion Baptist, Good Hope Baptist, Walker's United Methodist Church, and Madison Church of the Brethren. The offering received at this time of worship will go to the Madison Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. This event has been a tradition in the area and with these churches for many years. The Rev. Alan Follett, who serves both Mt. Zion and Walker's UMC, will deliver the message. For more information call 672-6233.

PRE-THANKSGIVING
DINNER
Emanuel Baptist Church will have its annual pre-Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. This free dinner open to the public. For information, call 672-4152.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
The Orange Circuit United Methodist Women will have their annual Christmas bazaar Nov. 28 at Salem UMC, located adjacent to the new Village Feed Farm Store (formerly known as Double B Farm) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ham biscuits will be available all day; lunch will be served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Re-gifting store, crafts, baked goods and white elephant items will be sold.

COMMUNITY LUNCH
Gordonsville United Methodist Church is the place for lunch Saturday, Nov. 28, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. provided by Feed My Sheep. Free Thanksgiving dinner will be offered. Feed My Sheep, a community outreach ministry of local individuals and churches, is currently providing a monthly free lunch and community swap of goods and services in response to Jesus' call that no one within 15 miles of Gordonsville go hungry in body or spirit. Come as you are and bring a friend. A community "free cycle" will begin at 10:30 a.m. For more information or for a ride, call Barbara Drinkwater at 832-3368.

PASTOR ANNIVERSARY
The Rev. Joseph Moore will celebrate his seventh anniversary as pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church during the 11 a.m. worship service Nov. 29. It will also be women's ministry Sunday and evangelist Yvonne Jackson of The Arms of the Lord Ministries Church will be the guest preacher. A repast will follow the service.

SUNDAY SERVICE
The Nazareth Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 29 morning service will be held at 8 a.m. The church is located at 115 E. Church Street.

SUPPORTING
SHELTERING ARMS
November is National Homeless month and Little Zion Baptist Church wants to show support for Sheltering Arms with a special donation. On Nov. 29 during the 10 a.m. service, church members will show their support for Sheltering Arms as they send up praises. Please join us as we support the shelter.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR
The Orange Presbyterian Church, 162 W. Main St, will hold a Holiday Bazaar Friday, Dec. 4 from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 5 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Items for sale will include holiday crafts, jewelry, handmade gifts and a silent auction. Delicious homemade baked goods and white elephant items will also be sold. All proceeds will benefit Orange County Habitat for Humanity.

JAM SESSION
Harmony FreeWill Baptist Church, Orange, is having a jam session Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. If 150 people or more attend the session, Paul and Betty will sing a solo. Bring along your instrument to play and sing for the glory of the Lord, with refreshments to follow. For more information, call Pastor Paul E. Kirk at 854-8799.
BAZAAR, BAKE SALE AND STEW
Somerset Christian Church, Route 20 in Somerset, will have its annual Christmas bazaar, bake sale and Brunswick stew or chili lunch Dec. 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be handmade crafts, handmade goodies and tickets sold for a raffle drawing on that day for over $500 in gift cards and handmade crafts. CHRISTMAS BANQUET
Union Baptist Church, Trevilians, will be hosting its annual Christmas banquet Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. at Shenandoah Crossing Resort. The Rev. John Reid of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Advance Mills, will be the guest speaker for the evening. The cost for the banquet is $35 a person. Call deaconess Brenda Willis at 540-967-1850 for reservations.

THE MESSIAH
The annual singing of Handel's "The Messiah" will take place this year on Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Orange. All singers and listeners are welcome. No rehearsal necessary. This year's director is Allen Miller, Minister of Music at Orange Baptist Church accompanied by William Drake, organist, and a fifteen piece string ensemble. A reception will follow the singing. Admission is free. A donation of nonperishable food would be greatly appreciated.
