Craigs Baptist Church will be holding its annual homecoming celebration Sunday, Sept. 13 beginning at 9 a.m. We will be outside under the big tent, so be sure to bring along a comfortable lawn chair if you wish. BAPTISTRY DEDICATION
Crooked Run Baptist Church, Rapidan, will dedicate their new baptistry Sept. 13. The regular worship service will begin at 10 a.m. with a picnic to follow. Homecoming and revival services at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Tanners, will be Sept. 13 - 18. Rev. French Bryant, pastor of Threshing Floor Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., will be the guest preacher for the homecoming service at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Revival services will be held Sept. 14 - 18 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Frank Lewis of Antioch Baptist Church, Madison, will be the guest preacher Mon.-Wed. and Fri. evenings. Rev. Mount Calvary Baptist Church will host a benefit concert to fund the construction of their new church on Sept. 19 starting at 7 p.m. Performer Michael Hoover will present his "Memories of Elvis" show at Orange County High School. YOUTH WORKSHOP
Covenant Community Fellowship and Everlasting Beauty Outreach Ministries will be sponsoring a youth workshop Sept. 19 entitled "First Love." The workshop will be held at Locust Grove Middle School 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Topics of discussion are: for the young ladies- focusing on your inner beauty and having a heart for God; for the young men- how to stay fit and healthy for God and from boys to men becoming men of integrity.
