Cloverbud camp is held annually for children ages 5-8. This year's camp will be held Aug. 2-5.

Orange County 4-H announces a summer line-up of exciting activities for local youth. To register for any of the programs listed, contact the Orange Extension Office at 672-1361.
Please note: a current health history form must be on file in the Extension office for each participant in all activities.

Pre-Fair
Tin Punch Workshop
June 30, 3 p.m.
Ages: 9-15
Register by: June 28
Cost: None
Location: Orange Extension Office
This is the first of four pre-fair workshops. We will make our own tin punch lanterns to enter into the fair. Please bring your own metal coffee can and all other materials will be provided. Your lantern will be entered in the Orange County Fair when completed.

Pre-Fair Decoupage
Picture Frame Workshop
July 7, 3 p.m.
Ages: 9-15
Register by: July 1
Cost: $5
Location: Orange Extension Office
This is the second workshop where we will decoupage picture frames keeping the fair theme, "Harvesting Memories,” in mind. The frame and random items to adhere to the frame will be provided. You are encouraged to bring any materials that you think would enhance your frame and the theme. This project will be entered into the Orange County Fair.

Therapeutic Adventure Camp of Orange (TACO)
July 12-16, 9 a.m. - 12 noon
Ages: 9-19
Register by: June 21
Cost: None
Location: Elmwood Farm
TACO has been a day camp tradition in Orange for over 30 years. This camp is sponsored by 4-H and it offers children with special needs an opportunity to experience camp. While at camp they participate in therapeutic horseback riding, crafts, and games. Volunteers of all ages are always needed!

Collage Workshop
July 14, 3 p.m.
Ages: 9-15

Cost: $5
Location: Orange Extension Office
The third workshop will focus on creating a collage to enter in the fair. Materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Bread Making Workshop
July 21, 3 p.m.
Ages: 9-15
Register by: July 14
Cost: $5
Location: Orange Extension Office
Workshop number four is all about bread making! Make your own rolls or loaves of bread to enter in the fair. Do you know what makes bread rise??

Orange Fair 4- H Day Camp
July 22 or July 23,
9 a.m. - 12 noon
Ages: 5-10
Register by: July 12
Cost: $10
Location: Orange County Fairgrounds
Come learn all about the Orange County Fair! Campers will meet 4-Hers and their animal projects, make butter, participate in a scavenger hunt and many other activities.

Eco-Ventures Camp
July 29- 30
Ages: 9-13
Register by: July 12

Do you like the outdoors? Come to camp and learn how to help protect the outdoors while experiencing nature!

Cloverbud Day Camp
August 2-5, 9 a.m. - 12 noon
Ages: 5-8
Register by: July 19
Cost: $25
Location: Northern Piedmont Agricultural Research and Extension Center
Camp covers all of what 4-H has to offer! Each day includes a snack, craft, story time, and many other activities.

Go Green for Sewing
August 19, 9 a.m. - 12 noon
Ages: 8-13
Register by: August 5
Cost: None
Location: Orange Extension Office
Bring an empty cereal box and one clean empty tuna or cat food can to create your own recycled pin cushion.
