Oak Chapel Baptist Church, Orange, is starting a new worship program, Worship Kidstyle, for children age 4 through sixth-grade. Worship Kidstyle will run the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 6 - 6:45 p.m. Dinner will be provided for children.
PRE-SPRING REVIVAL

Deacon-elect James Booker, Jr. will be ordained as a deacon of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Saturday, March 13 at noon. The Rev. Charles Lewis, pastor of Clover Dale Baptist Church will be the guest preacher.
LEIDRA CARTER BENEFIT
Little Zion Baptist Church will host a benefit program for Leidra Carter March 13 at 3 p.m. Carter is a junior at Orange County High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tori Dade. She has been invited to the National Leadership Forum of Medicine that will be held this summer in Georgia. Because of her hard work, dedication and her desire for a future in the medical field, the organization felt that she met the criteria needed to be a part of the forum. All the proceeds from this benefit will go towards her expenses for the trip. If you want to enjoy an afternoon of gospel singing, praise dancing and gospel poetry join us as we praise the name of Jesus and support the future of our youth. TAG DAY SERVICE
The District No. 2 Ushers' Auxiliary will be celebrating its eighth combined tag day service Saturday, March 20 at 3 p.m. at Emanuel Baptist Church, Orange. The theme is "Be a Doorkeeper in the House of My God" with background scripture from Psalm 84:10. All ushers are asked to wear white uniforms to commemorate this special service and to honor the legacy of the national founders' visions of an ushers' movement to broaden the field of church ushering. Each board is asked to select one senior and one junior usher to honor. Sunrise service will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Easter Sunday at 6:30 a.m. followed by breakfast. Sunday school will be held at 8:45 a.m. and the regular worship service will be at 10 a.m. Please note that this is a time change for Sunday school and morning worship.
