On June 29, the LOW Barracudas hosted Fredericksburg's Country Club team. The Barracudas readily took the win with a score of 321 to 178. The skies were clear and the sun hot as swimmers and spectators attempted to keep cool and hydrated. Triple winners for the evening were Corey Kreiter (age 18) and Julian Ciskanik (14).  Many Barracudas earned two first place finishes, including Emma Browning (10), Chandler Renaud (12), Jessie McQuaid (14) and Erin Kreiter (15). 

Individual Events

8 and under age group
In the girls' 25 meter freestyle, Kayla Balk earned second, Sydney Wynn third, Riley Harrington fourth, Rachel Smith fifth and Jordan Jaskiewicz sixth in the 6 and under age group. Boys in the same age group were Nicolas Strollo (fourth) and Connor Chubb (sixth). The 8 and under boys and girls each came in the top two spots for Genna Blake and Jasmyn Haakman and Nico Balk and Adam Boukhari.   Blake and Boukhari each came in second for the 25 meter butterfly.  Kendall Wynn took first place in the 25 meter backstroke and Balk earned second. Wynn also earned first for the 25 meter breaststroke, Haakman followed in third. Boukhari got second place for the boys in this event.

9-10 age group
Emma Browning came in second in the 25 meter freestyle for the girls, while boys came in one, two and three for Drew Harrington, Luke Wilson and Paul Wilson. Browning came in first for the 25 meter butterfly for the girls, Paul Wilson and Harrington took first and third respectively for the boys. For the 25 meter backstroke, Browning again took first and Kiana Jeffries placed third. The boy's 25 meter backstroke earned second and third for Paul and Luke Wilson, respectively. TJ Wynn came in third for the 25 meter breaststroke for the girls and Harrington earned second for the boys.

11-12 age group
Barracudas came in third for the 100 meter freestyle with Zahra Boukhari and Noah Klug. For the 50 meter free, Chandler Renaud and Kaitlyn Flecker earned first and second, while Foster Browning and Dallas Walker took first and third. Flecker and Renaud placed second and third in the 50 meter butterfly, Klug got second for the boys.  Renaud also got first in the 50 meter backstroke followed by Laine Harrington for the girls; Browning took first for the boys.  In the 50 meter breaststroke Boukhari earned second for the girls, Klug took first with Max Yetter third for the boys. Flecker came in first for the girls in the 100 meter individual medley and Browning came in second.

13-14 age group
Jessie McQuaid and Julian Ciskanik each took first place for both the 50 meter freestyle and the 50 meter butterfly. In the freestyle, McQuaid was followed by Mallory Davis (second) and Rebecca Harvey (third) and Davis also earned second in the butterfly. Ciskanik was supported by Ernest Eclipse (second) and Daniel Hyden (third) in the free, and by Eclipse (second) and Ryan Harvey (third) in the butterfly. For the 50 meter backstroke, Rebecca Harvey took second and Kaitlyn Johnson third.  Boys took first through third with Eclipse, Sean Bush and Hyden respectively. Rebecca Harvey also earned second in the 50 meter breaststroke with Davis third; boys were Ciskanik (first), Bush (second) and Hyden (third). 

15-18 age group
Erin Kreiter and Dani Amoruso earned first and third in the 100 meter freestyle; boys were Tanner Kelson (first), Hunter Kelson (second) and John McQuaid (third) for 13-18 year olds.  For 15-18 year olds, girls were one, two and three with Lindsay Cook, Hayley Gunnett and Theresa Bulik. Corey Kreiter came in first for boys followed by Kyle Hayes (second). Girls Kreiter and Amoruso also took second and third in the 50 meter butterfly; boys were Kreiter (first), Tanner Kelson (second) and Matt O'Donnell (third). Cook and Bulik were second and third in the 50 meter backstroke for the girls, O'Donnell and Hayes second and third for the boys. Kreiter and Amoruso were one and two in the 50 meter breaststroke, with Alexa Eclipse in third. Boys were Hayes (first), Archie Crowe (second) and McQuaid (third). Gunnett finished second in the 100 meter individual medley for the girls. The boys were Kreiter (first), O'Donnell (second) and Hunter Kelson (third).

Relay Events
Both girls and boys relay teams earned second place in the 8 and under 100 meter freestyle relay for Genna Blake, Saba Azimipour, Madison Lancing and Jasmyn Haakman and Devin Jackson, Nico Balk, Parker Ford and Adam Boukhari. The 9-10 year old teams took first with Bethany Blake, Lucy Turner, Coco Ciskanik and Emma Browning and Paul Wilson, Gene Flecker, Luke Wilson and Drew Harrington. Chandler Renaud, Zahra Boukhari, Kaitlyn Flecker and Laine Harrington earned first for 11-12 girls; boys took second and third with teams of Dallas Walker, Foster Browning, Keegan Kelson and Noah Klug and Michael Suche, Josiah Koehler, Frederick Getty and Max Yetter. For 13-14 year olds girls, Mallory Davis, Jessie McQuaid, Kaitlyn Johnson and Rebecca Harvey took first followed by Megan Ali, Madison Donahue, Riley Yetter and Jaimie Dodson. Boys were Ernest Eclipse, Daniel Hyden, Sean Bush and Julian Ciskanik in first. Barracudas took first and second for boys and girls in the 100 meter freestyle relay. Girls' teams were Hayley Gunnett, Amber Breeden, Erin Kreiter and Dani Amoruso and Alexa Eclipse, Alexis Donahue, Rachael Roberts and Lindsay Cook.  Boys' teams were Kyle Hayes, Hunter Kelson, Matt O'Donnell, and Corey Kreiter and Conor Martin, Archie Crowe, John McQuaid and Tanner Kelson.  In the 100 meter medley relay girls Chandler Renaud, Kaitlyn Flecker, Laine Harrington and Zahra Boukhari took first, while boys Keegan Kelson, Max Yetter, Noah Klug and Foster Browning took second for 11-12 year olds.  In the 13-18 group, girls took first and third and boys first and second.  Girls' teams were Rebecca Harvey, Dani Amoruso, Erin Kreiter and Lindsay Cook and Kaitlyn Johnson, Alexa Eclipse, Hayley Gunnett and Amber Breeden.  Boys' teams were Matt O'Donnell, Julian Ciskanik, Corey Kreiter and Kyle Hayes and Conor Martin, John McQuaid, Tanner Kelson and Ernest Eclipse.  Both boys and girls teams took first and third in the final event of the night, the 125 meter freestyle relay.  The Barracudas faced Spotsylvania's Fox Point with a home meet July 6.
