Bali
3-year-old female domestic short hair
Bali, with her grey-green eyes and clean markings of pure black, bordered by pure white has been a loved pet. She is in the very prime of life, strong and apparently healthy. She is good with kids, dogs and other cats, and affectionate toward all. Bali is an indoor cat.
Fatima,
2-year-old female domestic short hair
Fatima came to our shelter with her three kittens as a stray. She is affectionate with people and good with other cats. She has that femme fatale look that cats can do so well.
Lucy
Adult female domestic short hair
Lucy’s coat is a blend of autumn colors, accented by a white bib and four white paws. She is a medium-sized young adult with a very pleasant disposition, good with kids, dogs and other cats. Lucy is an indoor cat.
Rain
7-week-old male domestic long hair
Rain was found as a stray, semi-feral kitten, but he loves people and is super affectionate. He was 7 weeks old on Sept. 30, 2011. His long fur sticks out in every direction, giving him a surprised, somewhat “electrified” look.
Simba
4 ½-year-old male domestic short hair
Simba is a nice, big armful of cat. He’s a deep, dark pumpkin color. He is 4 ½ years old. Simba is compatible with female cats, and very mellow and accepting of people. He has been declawed and must be an indoor pet.
Striper
4-year-old male domestic short hair
Striper, (aka “Mr. Personality”) thinks life is all about play, and people are wonderful. He is a four-year-old brown/black tabby with white markings. He gets along with everybody--kids, cats, dogs. He will make a wonderful family pet.
Sasha
3-year-old female dalmatian
Sasha is a very well-mannered young lady used to living in an adult home as a beloved companion. Housebroken, she walks well on leash, sits for treats or attention and likes to go for car rides. Sasha has no experience with children so we recommend a home with no tiny tots please. Sasha is used to living with a large Rottweiler; they got along famously. She will chase cats and is too much for small dogs; a new friend more her size would be an appropriate pairing.
Sandra
3-year-old female lab/boxer mix
Sandra was surrendered when her owners were evicted from their home. She had been kept outside so will have to learn the rules of indoor living (she's ready though--she loves her blankets at the shelter!). Initially a little timid in new situations, Sandra warms up to you quickly and is very affectionate. She will need a patient, caring person or family to help her build up her confidence but she is super gentle with food/toys/treats and seems to learn quickly.
Sheba
10-year-old female beagle mix
1/2 price senior adoption
Sheba was surrendered by an older couple no longer able to properly care for her. Unable to handle walking a dog any longer, they put her outside. Unused to this, Sheba lost all of her fur and became in need of help. Sheba was brought to the shelter where she received full veterinary care and is back to her fat, happy, fuzzy little self! Sheba loves people, craves attention and likes to play. She has a sparkling, bouncy personality and is affectionate as well as curious. Sheba gets along well with other dogs but needs a home without cats please.
