FAITH BIBLE VBS
Well-known evangelist Ricky Henson of Jonesboro, GA, will be conducting a family crusade at Faith Bible Baptist Church, Unionville, July 4-7. The Sunday services are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The weekday services begin at 7 p.m. "Tricky Ricky," as he is called, has been on Good Morning America, P.M. Magazine, News Around the World, Hour Magazine and America's Most Funniest People. He has held crusades all over the United States and annually works with the Indians at Falls Creek in Davis, OK. GOLDEN YEARS CELEBRATION
The women's ministry of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Nasons, will have a golden years celebration Saturday, July 10 at 3 p.m. This service will honor three couples who have been married 50 plus years. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Gregory Baldwin of Freedom Baptist Church, Washington, DC. The West Bottom Praise Team of Fork Union will render the music. ICE CREAM SOCIAL/GOSPEL SING
An ice cream social and gospel sing will be held July 11 at 7 p.m. at Unionville Christian Church. Come enjoy ice cream and a fun evening of fellowship and singing. Blue Ridge Presbyterian, Ruckersville, will hold an outdoor concert with the Courtney Hollow Band Saturday, July 17, 4-7 p.m. The concert is part of the Blue Ridge Coffeehouse Concert series. The suggested donation of $10 per person ($20 per family maximum) includes BBQ, hamburgers and drinks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greene County.
