FAITH BIBLE VBS
Well-known evangelist Ricky Henson of Jonesboro, GA, will be conducting a family crusade at Faith Bible Baptist Church, Unionville, July 4-7. The Sunday services are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The weekday services begin at 7 p.m. "Tricky Ricky," as he is called, has been on Good Morning America, P.M. Magazine, News Around the World, Hour Magazine and America's Most Funniest People. He has held crusades all over the United States and annually works with the Indians at Falls Creek in Davis, OK. Ricky is an excellent ventriloquist, which he uses during his meetings. For more information, call 854-4286.

GOSPEL SING
Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, Orange, will host a gospel sing July 9. Back by popular demand is Rick Dellinger from Bedford. A covered dish dinner will be held at 6 p.m. followed by open stage and prayer request. A love offering will be received. Bring a covered dish and fellowship with us. GOLDEN YEARS CELEBRATION
The women's ministry of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Nasons, will have a golden years celebration Saturday, July 10 at 3 p.m. This service will honor three couples who have been married 50 plus years. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Gregory Baldwin of Freedom Baptist Church, Washington, DC. The West Bottom Praise Team of Fork Union will render the music. Refreshments will be served following the service.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL/GOSPEL SING
An ice cream social and gospel sing will be held July 11 at 7 p.m. at Unionville Christian Church. Come enjoy ice cream and a fun evening of fellowship and singing. Sign up for vacation Bible school, "High Seas Expedition." Bring lawn chairs or blankets. This event is hosted by Salem and Bethlehem Methodist churches, Antioch Baptist Church and Unionville Christian Church.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY

CALVARY BAPTIST HOMECOMING/REVIVAL
Calvary Baptist Church, Monrovia Road, will hold homecoming and revival services beginning July 11 at 11:30 a.m. with pastor Dr. Richard Goble delivering the message. The service will be followed by a covered-dish fellowship and an afternoon song service featuring the music of Zion Song. Revival services will be held July 12-14 beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest speakers will be: Monday- Dr. Daryl Harbin, pastor of Zion Baptist, Orange; Tuesday- the Rev. Bruce Proctor, evangelist from Hebron Baptist Church, Spotsylvania; Wednesday- Dr. Jeff Ginn, executive director of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia.

PLEASANT GROVE VBS
Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3687 Toms Road, Barboursville, invites all children ages 2 through eighth grade to attend vacation Bible school July 12-15, 6-8:15 p.m. A commencement ceremony and picnic will be held Sunday, July 18 beginning at 11 a.m. Registration will begin on July 12 at 5:30 p.m.

ST. THOMAS' EPISCOPAL VBS
St. Thomas's Vacation Bible School will take place July 12-16 from 6-8 p.m. This year's program is focused on the great Bible stories that lie behind the stained glass windows at St. Thomas's Church. Each night's events will include dinner, singing, prayers, stories and crafts. Classes will be offered to children ages 3 and older. Vacation Bible school will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Locust Grove, July 12-16, 6-8 p.m. nightly. Bible school will close out with a carnival at the church July 17, 1-5 p.m.

HARMONY FREEWILL VBS
Harmony FreeWill Baptist Church, Orange, will host vacation Bible school July 12-16, 7-8:30 p.m. The theme is "Sea Quest." Activities include arts, crafts and Bible stories. Awards will be handed out Friday night. For more information, contact Ron Rose at 661-3288.

SHADY GROVE VBS
Vacation Bible school will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church July 12-16, 6:30-8:30 p.m. with classes for all ages. OUTDOOR CONCERT
Blue Ridge Presbyterian, Ruckersville, will hold an outdoor concert with the Courtney Hollow Band Saturday, July 17, 4-7 p.m. The concert is part of the Blue Ridge Coffeehouse Concert series. The suggested donation of $10 per person ($20 per family maximum) includes BBQ, hamburgers and drinks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greene County.

HARMONY FREEWILL REVIVAL

BBC SPECIAL PROGRAM
Bethel Baptist Church, Madison Mills, is having a special program Sunday, July 18 at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be minister Johnny Hodges from Shiloh Baptist Church, Landover, MD. Lunch will be served following the morning service.

MT. ZION PASTOR ANNIVERSARY
Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Locust Grove, will celebrate their pastor the Rev. Sanford Reaves, Jr.'s third anniversary Sunday, July 18 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Douglas Greene, Sr. of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lignum. Divine Life Ministries Choir will render the music. Dinner will be served following the morning service.

TUMC VBS
Trinity United Methodist Church will hold vacation Bible school July 18-22, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the church, 143 West Main Street, Orange. COMMUNITY VBS
Unionville Christian Church will host community vacation bible school for children ages preschool to those finishing fifth grade July 26-30, 9 a.m. to 12 noon. RECRUITING SINGERS

BIBLE STUDY
Unionville Christian Church will host a meal and study of current world events related to Bible prophecy Wednesday nights at 5:45 p.m. The study will continue through the last week of August.

NIGHTLIGHTS
Some people are asking life's deep questions but can't seem to get answers. There's a lot of noise, a lot of false teachers and a lot of sloganeering posing as wisdom. NightLights is a new style of worship taking place Thursdays at Trinity United Methodist Church, Orange, that could open up discussion on life's deep questions.
