Things to be thankful for

Sometimes, it takes something simple for us to remember all we should be thankful for. Too often, we’re caught up in the pace of our frenetic schedules to consider our simple blessings. Below, the students of Mrs. Dudley's second grade class at Orange Elementary School wrote letters describing all the many things they were thankful for this Thanksgiving. We can learn a thing or two from their gratitude.

I am thankful for my family because I Love my family. I am thankful for my dogs. But one of my dogs died. Her name is BooBoo. I got another dog and his name is Ranger. He is fun to play with. I am thankful for my home too. I am thankful for my friends because I like to play with them. I am thankful for the pilgrims and the Indians for making such good friendships and caring for one another!

I am thankful for Dimitry. If he got hurt, I would help him. If Danni got hurt, I would help her too. If Erich got hurt I would help him also. I love my friends. I'm thankful for all of them!
