EBC SPRING REVIVAL
Emanuel Baptist Church will host spring revival May 16-18 at 7:30 nightly. The special guests will be: Wenesday, the Rev. Tyrone Hilton of Union Baptist Church, Louisa; Thursday, the Rev. Perry Moore of Orange Grove Baptist Church, Unionville; and Friday, the Rev. James Mack of Divine Ministries Church, Rapidan. They will be accompanied by their choirs, ushers and congregations.

YOUTH NIGHT
White Oak Run Baptist Church, Rapidan will be hosting youth night, Friday, May 18 at 7 p.m. There will be karaoke, games, refreshments, music and more. Casual attire.

LAWN PARTY
Mt. Lebanon Church of the Brethren will have a lawn party May 19, 1-5 p.m. There will be lots of fun for everyone including a moon bounce and games for children, a cake walk, music and a potluck meal. Join in as the church continues to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The church is located at 16216 Burnley Road in Barboursville.

YOUTH WEEKEND
New Fellowship Christian Center will host youth weekend Friday, May 18 through Sunday, May 20. Friday’s events begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a talent show (open to youth and adults), words of encouragement by Andre Parker and a movie shown outside with food. Saturday’s event is a basketball tournament to be held at Wetsel Middle School, 3-8 p.m. Admission to this event is free. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the games. On Sunday, service will begin at 10 a.m. The guest speaker will be Ms. Katherine Johnson, a long time teacher and coach at Madison County High School. GOSPEL EXTRAVAGANZA
The Drewary J. Brown Male Chorus of Main Uno Baptist Church will host a gospel extravaganza Saturday, May 19 at 4 p.m. Elder Wanda Dove of The First Bible Way Church, Louisa, will be the guest preacher.

YARD AND BAKE SALE
The Salem United Methodist Women of Salem United Methodist Church will have a yard and bake sale Saturday, May 19, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, located on Rt. 20 adjacent to Village Farm Feed. Hot dogs and sodas will be available.

SERVICE OF HEALING
Christ Anglican Fellowship will host a service of healing May 20, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Orange. For more information, call 540-535-9193. Healing services are normally held on the second Sunday of each month; however, May’s service was moved to the third Sunday in honor of Mother’s Day.

ZBC WOMEN AND MEN’S/DEACON AND DEACONESS’ DAY
Pastor Summers and Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Criglersville, will host women and men’s day and deacon and deaconess day May 20 at 3 p.m. The guest preacher will be pastor Herbert Cottoms of Rising Zion Baptist Church, Winston. Dinner will be served immediately following the morning service.

NBC SPECIAL GUEST
Elder Bobby Dunmore of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., will be the guest speaker at the May 20 11 a.m. service at Nazareth Baptist Church.

ABC SPAGHETTI LUNCH
Antioch Baptist Church, located on St. Just Road, will host a spaghetti lunch May 20 at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will consist of spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and tea or lemonade. Donations will benefit the youth group’s IMPACT mission trip.

WORBC WOMEN MINISTRY CELEBRATION
White Oak Run Baptist Church will be celebrating women ministries Sunday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. Minister Brenda Carpenter will be the guest speaker from New Life Temple of Deliverance, Culpeper.

MPBC MEN AND WOMEN’S DAY
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church will host men and women’s day May 20. The morning service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Vernon Pettus of Bethel Baptist Church, Unionville as the guest along with his church family. The evening service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Tracie Daniels as the guest along with her choir and congregation. Dinner will be served 1-2:15 p.m.

NBC ANNIVERSARY
Nazareth Baptist Church will celebrate its 141st anniversary May 20 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Bruce Jones of First Baptist Church, Louisa, will be the guest speaker. He will be accompanied by his choir and ushers. Dinner will be served 1:15-2:30 p.m.

HBC REVIVAL
Hopewell Baptist Church, Rapidan, under the leadership of pastor Eric A. Henley Sr., will be celebrating its spring revival Sunday, May 20 at 3 p.m. with pastor Connie Wilson from Community of Light Ministries. Nightly services will be held May 23-25 at 7:30 p.m. The preacher for the week will be pastor Bobby Hicks, Sr. of New Hope Baptist Church in Landover, MD. Various guest praise teams and choirs will also be present. The schedule is as follows: May 23, White Oak Baptist Church, Rapidan; May 24, Divine Life Ministries, Culpeper; and May 25, Belulah Baptist Church, Culpeper.

MBC GOSPEL SING
Mechanicsville Baptist Church, Gordonsville, will have a dinner and a gospel sing in the outdoor pavilion May 27 at 5 p.m. Donations will support summer missions projects in the community and Honduras.

CGBC YOUTH DAY
Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Barboursville, will host youth day May 27. The 11 a.m. service will be preached by the Rev. Kendrick Edwards of Charlottesville. Following the service, a cookout will be held at the Barboursville playground.

MUBC MEN AND WOMEN’S DAY

CGBC ANNIVERSARY
The senior choir of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Barboursville, will celebrate its anniversary June 3 at 2:30 p.m. The male chorus of Galilee Baptist Church, Louisa, will be in concert.

UBC ANNIVERSARY
Union Baptist Church, Trevilians, will be celebrating its 146th church anniversary Sunday, June 3 at 3 p.m. Elder Victor Hairston of Redeemed Apostolic, Fredericksburg, will be the guest preacher. He will be accompanied by his choir and church family.

TUMC VBC
Trinity United Methodist Church will host vacation Bible school June 23-27, 6:30-9 p.m. The theme will be, “Operation Overboard: Dare to go Deep with God.” The adventures include regular deep sea voyages into Bible fun and creative crafts, water science and great music. SHOE RALLY
Free Union Gospel Church, Gordonsville, will host a shoe rally June 30 at 3 p.m. Pastor bishop John Marshall and prophetess Shirley Wallace will be the guest speakers from House of Harvest Holies Church.

GOSPEL FESTIVAL

NOON PRAYER
Church of The Living God will have noon day prayer every Thursday at 12 p.m. The regular church service is every Sunday at 11 a.m. including the fifth Sunday. Bible study is held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Church of The Living God is located at 13268 James Madison Highway (Colonial Square Shopping Center) in Orange.

ANGELOLOGY
Each alternate Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. there will be a gathering of people interested in heavenly angels for the purpose of enhancing individual living, family, community, and to help our nation. This is a special opportunity to meet with others of similar interests while learning from an expert in the field of angelology, the visionary author and artist, K. Martin-Kuri.
