The third annual Barboursville community fireworks show is coming soon for all community members. On Saturday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m., a fireworks display will be held at the Barboursville Community Park. This third annual event is a free event sponsored by the Barboursville Masonic Lodge #112 in celebration of our country’s independence. All community members are welcome to attend. Please bring a chair and come early to enjoy the festivities.
Barboursville Masonic Lodge No. 112 has sponsored this event since 2007. A small community event has grown by leaps and bounds with growing attendance every year. What started in the backyard of the local lodge has now grown to a full scale fireworks show.
“What a great event for the community on the Fourth,“ stated Flint Engleman, chairman of the Barboursville Masonic Fireworks Committee. “Every year this event has grown with community support and participation. Friends, neighbors and Americans of all ages always have a great time. This year’s show will be a blast!“
The third annual Barboursville community fireworks show will be located adjacent to Route 33 in Barboursville, across from the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department building. Parking will be available in the community parking lot with overflow parking at the fire department.
