LOW Barracudas open against Eden Estate Eels

The Lake of the Woods Barracudas began their official start of the 2009 swim season on Wednesday, June 24 at home with a meet against the Eden Estate Eels. 
The meet was concluded under perfect weather conditions. 
Some swimmers got a great start on the swim season obtaining a perfect win night. 
To start, Kristen Cook, age 14, placed first in her 50 M Freestyle with a time of 32.68.  She finished off the night first in a 50 M Butterfly with a time of 36.23 and first in a 50 M Back with a time of 36.33. 
Also, Julian Ciskanik, age 12, took home a triple win as well. 
He placed first in a 100 M Freestyle with a time of 121.97, first in a 50 M Backstroke (44.77) and first in a 100 M Individual Medley (134.22). 
The next meet will be held at home against the Fox Point Fintastics on Wednesday, July 1.
