JV soccer
The JV team remains undefeated after beating the Dragons 3 to 0. The first goal of the match was scored by Orange's right midfielder Chico Diaz-Perez. The second goal was scored by Chris Johns off an indirect kick right outside the 18, and the final goal of the game was scored by Brennen Richardson on a penalty kick. The JV boys improve their record to 6-0.
JV softball
The junior Hornets pounded Madison 20-3 Saturday to improve to 3-1 overall.
Amber Fortune got the win for the Hornets and scored three times.
Most of the Hornets got in on the action as Orange scored three in the first, four in the second and seven in the third inning when the Hornets batted around. Orange tacked on three more in the fourth and four in the sixth in the blowout win.
Allie Fincham and Sydney Cannon each scored three times for the Hornets.
JV baseball
The junior Hornets improved to 5-1 overall with an 11-4 win over Madison Friday in Orange.
The Hornets got two runs in the first and never looked back, building their lead to 7-2 by the bottom of the second. Orange tacked on three more in the third and another in the fifth to account for all the Hornets' scoring.
Mitchell King picked up the win with four innings of three-hit, one-run (unearned) ball. Brett Ralls threw three innings and struck out five, giving up three hits and three runs (one earned).
Tyler Seal led the offensive attack with three singles, three runs scored and two runs batted in. David Dulin had a single, double, two runs scored and two runs batted in.
Rahiem Cooper added two more hits, three runs and three runs batted in. Ralls had two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Mike Colvin had two runs batted in while Brandon Jarrell had one.
