The Orange County High School boys tennis team had no trouble with Louisa Friday, beating the Lions in Louisa 9-0.
Rob Johnson beat D. Candeto 10-3 and Michael Kayajanian beat J. Sestito 10-2.
Brendon Chambers beat T. Norris 10-5 and Zach Upchurch downed L. Beaver 10-7. Evan Garr had no trouble blanking M. Bunning 10-0, nor did Tony Breeden beating G. Palmer by the same score.
In doubles play, Johnson and Kayajanian teamed to beat Candeto and Sestito 10-2. Chambers and Max Correa beat Norris and Beaver 9-7. Tonto Duncan and Ben Carter beat Hall and Mary 10-2 to complete the sweep.
The win improved the Hornets' record to 7-4 overall and 3-4 in the district.
Orange won four singles matches and two doubles matches to beat King George 6-3 Tuesday.
Kayajanian beat M. Torres 10-6. Chambers beat K. Allwine 10-0. The Foxes' B. Murphy beat Upchurch 10-7, and C. Provender won a forfeit over Duncan (illness), but Garr topped K. Rogers 10-2 and Correa beat Q. Duong 10-8.
In doubles play, Johnson and Luis Amador beat Allwine and Murphy 10-2, while Carter and Lopez teamed to beat the Foxes' Wilson and Jones 10-3. Upchurch and Baldwin fell to Torres and Rogers 10-2.
Orange was scheduled to face Charlottesville Monday, but that match was postponed twice when it rained Monday and Tuesday. The Hornets were scheduled to play Wednesday instead and host Louisa again Thursday before heading into Jefferson District Tournament play next week.
