The Prospect Heights Middle School boys basketball team is off to a 3-0 start this season.
The Yellow Jackets defeated Culpeper and Locust Grove middle schools in their first two games and then hosted Fluvanna last Wednesday afternoon.
The game was back and forth well into the fourth quarter with PHMS pulling away in the closing minutes and getting the win 53-42.
Luke Neely led the Jackets with 18 points, followed by J'Air Rawlings with 12 points.  Alex Ellis added seven points, while Cameron Hill and Connor Fenwick each added five points.  Gus Rose finished with four points followed by DeAndre Clark with two points.
The Yellow Jackets were scheduled to visit Buford Middle School on Thursday but that game was postponed due to inclement weather.
They will return to action at home Jan. 6  when they host Louisa Middle School.
