The Lake of the Woods Barracudas came on strong for their final regular season meet at the Spotsylvania YMCA, beating the Dragons decisively 353-141.
Erin Kreiter (15) was a triple winner in the 50 free (29.75), 50 fly (32.48) and 50 breast (40.01). Zachary Parker (14) earned his first triple win of the season in the same events with times of 25.95, 28.90, and 34.95.
Individual Events
The boys' top swimmers for the evening included Adam Boukhari (7), who earned first in the 25 free (19.52), first in the 25 fly (25.40), and second in the 25 breast (25.00). Julian Ciskanik earned first in the 50 back (25.85), first in the 100 IM (1:09.37), and second in the 100 free (59.93). Kyle Hayes (17) earned first in the 50 free (25.14), first in the 50 breast (35.57), and third in the 50 back (32.09). Matt O'Donnell (17) earned first in the 50 fly (29.14), first in the 50 back (30.32), and second in the 50 free (25.28). Tanner Kelson finished first in the 100 free, improving by 3.60 seconds for a time of 58.93. Damon Yetter earned first in the 50 breast (45.57), shaving almost two seconds of his previous time (-1.99).
The girls' top scorers for the evening included Lindsay Cook (18), who earned first in the 100 free (1:07.69), first in the 100 IM (1:17.31), and second in the 50 fly (33.83). Kaitlyn Flecker (12) earned first in the 100 IM (1:24.78) and second in the 50 free (32.33) and the 50 back (41.39). Rebecca Harvey (14) earned first in the 50 free (32.51) and second in the 50 fly (38.12) and the 100 IM (1:19.71). Chandler Renaud (12), finished 1, 2, 3 in the 50 back (39.07), the 50 breast (44.31), and the 50 free (32.65). Jessie McQuaid came in second in the 50 free (32.55) and the 50 breast (43.31), and third in the 50 fly (40.48). Most improved winning times were by Laine Harrington (12) in the 50 breast (-.070) and Hayley Gunnett (15) in the 50 back (-0.49).

This win brings the Barracudas 2011 summer season to a successful 5-1 finish. The Barracudas hosted RSL finals at the King George YMCA Aug. 6.
