The Orange Cross Country teams headed to Panorama Farms in Albemarle County last Saturday to compete in the Albemarle Invitational Cross Country Meet.

Orange County's girls and boys cross country teams competed in the Fork Union Cross Country Invitational on Saturday and ran strong in the meet, which always features some of the state's top teams.
Thursday was perfect weather for cross country and the Orange County High School cross country teams took advantage turning in great performances in their traditional opener.

The Orange Otters beat the Chestnut Forks Country Club Marlins Thursday evening in their third meet of the summer season. Coach Shari Jacobs noted not only were there some fantastic swims, there were also far fewer disqualified swims, a sure sign of success on any team.
Last Thursday the Orange Otters once again came away the victors over the Fauquier Swim Club Frogs and clinched the Tri-County League Championship.

At its October meeting, the Orange County School Board recognized students who had acheived perfect test scores on SOL tests.
This was the first meet away from home and a number of swimmers had personal best swims.
