The Orange Otters beat the Chestnut Forks Country Club Marlins Thursday evening in their third meet of the summer season. Coach Shari Jacobs noted not only were there some fantastic swims, there were also far fewer disqualified swims, a sure sign of success on any team.
With three meets and three wins under their belt the Orange Otters are off to a terrific start to their season and quest for the league championship.
In their first meet of the season the Orange Otters won against the Culpeper Country Club.

Look sharp in opener
The swimming season is wrapped up, and for the year-round swimmers, the non-swimming season has begun.
Thursday, July 17 was an eventful evening as the Orange Otters took on Culpeper Rec Club and won, securing second place in the Tri-County League.
Saturday, July 12 was another winning day for the Orange Otters who took the Chestnut Forks Swim Team with a score of 733 to 506.
This was the first meet away from home and a number of swimmers had personal best swims.
There were too many great swims to mention, and he was amazed at the number of very close races.
